    Are you sure its actually disabled, you can check it under tools, sysinfo. another way to disable is add "fc disable" in the jffs scripts firewall-start script.

    Wouldnt it work if the router used pihole as upstream dns? thats how i thought it was setup. Clients were still using router. I think thats basically what you said. Ill try it again.

    Can someone explain how I should add my local pihole server to this setup. I put the pihole ip under WAN dns, which gets added to /tmp/resolv.conf, which it looks like dnsmasq uses. But then my ipset rules seem to quit working. Use local caching server as system resolver is on.

    The AX86u definitely doesn't work with custom rules using flex without fc disabled. Anything using standard markings seem to be fine.

    Alot of us have to disable Flow cache to get the AX86u to behave correctly with qos. This could limit your speed to less then 300Mbit/sec

    Benefits of MerlinWRT on Aimesh nodes?

    You can do mostly anything on a merlin node via command line mode same as the main. My nodes perform different tasks , like run rclone on cron to backup the attached usb drives to google drive. Its really the only reason or need to run merlin on a node.

    I played with this some awhile back, using your ipset list. Just watching netflix , everything still goes to besteffort. Figured I had some user error somewhere. But text file attached. This is on the dreaded AX86u EDIT: This was a pihole issue on my end. All working now.

    agreed, it was user error. I hit enter to fast. Im not sure why diversion would remove entware period, but in my humble opinion default should be not to. But this was my fault.

    your correct that it says press 1 to delete it all, 2 to save. Id think 2 should be default, but user error.
