vpnmgr vpnmgr - Manage and update VPN Client configurations for NordVPN and PIA

It takes longer than Nord and PIA, but this is the ultimate result:

These as well, but I doubt they are causing the current problem.

Yes. Yes. Not an uninstall, but I did switch back and forth from stable to develop and then back to stable.

vpnmgr vpnmgr - Manage and update VPN Client configurations for NordVPN and PIA

I just changed to the RT-AX86U and have this exact same problem. The CLI works, but the GUI doesn't have any options. Is there something I can try to fix the Web GUI?

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker v4.2.x (see new thread for 4.3.x)

Is there a write-up somewhere about the advantages/disadvantages of various swap sizes for the routers? I tried searching, but nothing useful came up outside redirecting me back to the new options. I know that 2GB is necessary for many scripts.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 is now available

I did a dirty upgrade from 386.3_2 to 386.4. It went smoothly; however, there were behind-the-scenes issues that I didn't notice until streaming later. YazFi lost its configuration. It is possible this had happened previously because I don't check it that often. My LAN wasn't using the VPN...

TimeMachine, Network Backups, and macOS Big Sur and Monterey

Thanks for the tips. I tried CIFS and it worked, so I decided to see if I could force SMBv2. I found this Reddit thread, but rather than making the changes to /etc/nsmb.conf, I changed ~/Library/Preferences/nsmb.conf per this thread. I also added the option to skip .DS_Store. I will add that...

TimeMachine, Network Backups, and macOS Big Sur and Monterey

I get that, and I'd love to switch. The question is, how? If I use the Time Machine toggle in the web GUI, it uses AFP. I went here and enabled the share, but when I went to Finder it said it couldn't connect. It didn't even ask for a username/password. I tried with the router IP...

TimeMachine, Network Backups, and macOS Big Sur and Monterey

Using the Time Machine option on the router creates an AFP share. I tried setting up SMB, but I couldn't connect at all. Has anyone succeeded in this and could share a detailed how-to? Connecting via AFP is a breeze; however, my Pro backup keeps failing while my partner's Air backup succeeds...

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server) - General questions / discussion thread 2

I rebooted the Asus router and I started getting pings again. It also fixed my DNS leak. The DSL router keeps changing my "WAN IP" often. Unfortunately, this Airbnb host changed the default password to their router, so I can't log in and give myself a reserved IP with DMZ access. I seem to run...

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server) - General questions / discussion thread 2

My issue could be related to my unique situation though. I also haven't been able to ping from the router for the past 11 hours. That coincides with a reboot of the DSL router earlier today when my Internet went out. I did not reboot the Asus router. I leave Rome in a few days, then I won't use...

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server) - General questions / discussion thread 2

I'm using the modified script. I hadn't checked previously, but my DNS is leaking right now.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker v4.2.x (see new thread for 4.3.x)

Diversion isn't a DNS server. I imagine you'd have to look through the source code to try and change the IP Diversion points to, and you would need to find another DNS server to run on the router. You probably want a new thread asking if anyone else has tried to have two DNS servers on your router.

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server) - General questions / discussion thread 2

That helps, thank you. Just in case anyone else has this problem, my openvpn-event file disappeared from /jffs/scripts/x3mRouting after I did an update. You may have to reinstall it if that happens because the file seems necessary to make these scripts run EDIT:***automatically***.

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server) - General questions / discussion thread 2

What is the purpose of "Say?" I'm getting ./vpnclient1-route-up: line 7: Say: not found when I run the scripts.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker v4.2.x (see new thread for 4.3.x)

I think you have to use a Raspberry Pi to have it use a different IP address, but that's just an educated guess and someone else here could have much better information than me. I'm not sure I fully understand the first part, though.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker v4.2.x (see new thread for 4.3.x)

For the screenshot from your PC, you have three IPs listed for DNS because you specified DNS 1, DNS 2, and advertise router's IP in addition to. If you don't want your local devices to use the router, then set that radio button to No. For your Samsung, you listed the DNS server as the Pixelserv...

    x3mRouting 3.86.3 Firmware & VPN Director

Yes, if you install x3mRouting with option 3 instead of option 2, then you get the correct GUI and you can use the vpnclient1-route-up and vpnclient1-route-pre-down scripts.

    Unbound Unbound_Manager Questions

Your resolution is very high. You'll need to either screenshot only the relevant portion or lower your resolution so the rest of us can see it. I'm guessing that's a 4k monitor?
