iptables -t nat -I PREROUTING -i br0 -p tcp --dport 80 -j DNAT --to 192.168.0.4:3128 If the service is running on the router: iptables -t nat -I PREROUTING -i br0 -p tcp --dport 80 -j REDIRECT --to-port 3128 Squid need to be configured first to work as transparent mode. http_port 3128...

    RT-AC88U

If RT-AC88U first HW revision doesn't allow MU-MIMO work as advertised on the initial product and it's fixed now with a new RT-AC88U HW revision than I definitely must agree with you, but I'm not sure if that's the case, we will need first to get some MU-MIMO capable clients to extensively test...

Asus AC3200 - Which Antenna are 2.4ghz and which are 5ghz?

    They are multi-band antennas. (2.4ghz + 5ghz)
  5. H

    RT-AC88U

You are conflating things, we were talking about HW revisions not SW FWs issues/bugs or lack of advertised features, you just need to reread my post to understand it.

    ROG Rapture GT-AC5300 (Owners)

Btw, good luck to those users on overclocking any new router model without decrypting the bootloader and bypassing the new FW code.

    ROG Rapture GT-AC5300 (Owners)

I wonder why people obcession with every new router model temperatures... BCM SOC TJMAX: 125ºC Most of the routers usually work at 70-85ºC, which are the normal temperatures, so nothing to be worried about.

    ROG Rapture GT-AC5300 (Owners)

Sorry for the mislead, here's what made me think that model was 2.5G: https://www.broadcom.com/products/wireless/wireless-lan-infrastructure/bcm49408 After confirmation is definitely 1GBit, I've checked the box.

As expected, try the same test on other WNIC client computer, probably you will get different results.

    ROG Rapture GT-AC5300 (Owners)

Yes, all 9 ports are 2.5GBit capable.

    RT-AC88U

Sorry to hear that. :( Are the HW revisions the same?

    RT-AC88U

Usually the process is quite simple: 1. Clone Cable Modem MAC Adress to AC88U WAN setup. 2. Power OFF both devices for some minutes. 3. Power ON Modem until boot process finish. 4. Power ON AC88U. Cable Modem <=> AC88U WAN
  16. H

    RT-AC88U

Most of the times the issue is not the router, but the setup. 1. What type of WAN connection? 2. How the setup is being done? 3. Are other devices involved? Are the speeds OK if not using AC88U? I mean when using ISP router/modem device.
  17. H

    Dead AC87U

You will need a RMA, RT-AC87U is a problematic model so nothing new here. Good luck.
  18. H

    Dead AC87U

Try this: 1. Power OFF. 2. Press WPS button without releasing it. 3. Power ON. After check the Powed LED status. 4. Release WPS button. (After 10-15sec of step 3.)
