    well, the hub is powered. it does work anywhere else. and it does work with previous builds I mentioned. So there has to be a big change in the kernel code since the .38 release as with the .35_4 it still works like a charm.

    There is a big bug, even in the .38 build, for usb hubs. See http://forums.smallnetbuilder.com/showthread.php?t=15229 for more informations I collected. Last working version for me is the .35_4 build on my N66.

    N66U 3.0.0.4.374.39_0 - USB hubs/cardreaders still do not work

    As with the 3.0.0.4.374.38' versions my usb card readers connected to an usb hub do not work. If I go back to RT-N66U_3.0.0.4_374.35_4 it works without any modifications.     My USB cardreaders on the hub doen't get recognised. They are recognised as GM Modems?! On 3.0.0.4.374.35_4 they are recognised correctly as high speed usb devices. With 3.0.0.4.374.38 on my N66U I can't get them to work. This would be correct: usb 1-1.1: new high speed USB device using...

    didn't copy the errors, but most of them looked like usb bulk write errors, i.e. usb bulk write failed : ret = -7

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.38 is out

    I did an upgrade from 3.0.0.4.374.35 to this one (RT-N66U_3.0.0.4_374.38) and now my USB cardreader doesn't work anymore. Just get a lot errors. Going back to 3.0.0.4.374.35 is fine, USB does work. I thought the USB problems are solved now with the new build?
