    Encrypting NAS Under RT-N66U With Entware-ng

    I had to look that NAS up as it seems the router shouldn’t be doing any of this. But it seems it has to in this case. The QNAP I run handles all the encryption/etc on its own and is plugged into the router via Ethernet.

    This may be a n00b question, but I am having some trouble ssh’ing to the router. No issue with connecting to either satellite, but the router keeps saying that my password is incorrect. The user name should be root, and the password is the one that you use for the webui, correct? I don’t...

    Release Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 is now available

    RT-AC86 here, dirty flash from .18 working great. Heeded the advice on the post to backup jffs, format after upgrade and then restore. Issue free. Thank you Merlin!

    100% cpu usage on core 1 of AC88U

    Not sure if this helps anyone else, but when I experienced this issue - it was all I/o CPU. Ended up swapping my USB stick for another one (after cloning) and the issue was gone. Worth a quick look to see if that’s your issue.

    Not positive but it seems like that setting would only apply to the router, and it would “push” the info the satellites.

    Yeah the first time I installed, satellites reset fine and came back up. But the router was a stickler and required holding the reset pin for a while (“hard reset”) to be able to TFTP back to stock.

    On one of the other threads, OP mentioned you may see stock updates available from the GUI. They will take you back to stock.

    So far I am having good luck with this firmware. Really like the ability to disable circle and armor! thanks for the work on this

    That’s what I just got. Although having some difficulties with TFTP. Any tip other than following these instructions? https://kb.netgear.com/000059633/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP-client I end up getting 4 replies to pings right after turning it on. Then goes dead...
