Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 is now available for select models

@ColinTaylor I believe that @zorinlynx was stating an observation that the message was misleading, and that there was no issue with the router. Which could help others, before they post an "issue". I noticed that "warning" when I first purchased my 6000.

RMerlin's Latest FW running on Main and AP without issues! Observation: This is the first time running a VPN on our router, with both WG and OVPN running since beta, without any issues with set-up and operation.

Buying advice for AX-router with Merlin-support

Casa Griswald is Happy with the GT-AX6000 w/ RMerlin! If you can wait for a brief moment, Asus is about to drop new routers (wifi 7 ), so these "current" models should become significantly lower in cost.

    What is the STUN client?

Noticed STUN on our network passing GBs of data, approximately the same time another Forum Member posted a Malware Issue. I did my due diligence, and googled my fears away. Yet those horrible feelings of "being infected" were truly unpleasant!

Merlin - automatic firmware update possible?

As per RMerlin, the removal of the usb isn't required. I stopped removing the usb, since RMerlin posted, and have experienced zero issues upgrading.

    NAS questions

@L&LD nice write up. I backup computers, laptops, and iphones to my NAS. Backups are to two separate drives, one stored off site. When a full restore was required, I wiped the NAS, which then became my backup device, as L&LD clearly stated above was useful. You would read of my grisly death, if...

    GT-BE98 WIFI 7

@jkxs I was pointing to the fact that this is not the proper place to discuss the 96U, since this is the GT-BE98 forum ;)

    DSM 7.2-64561 Released

Always Read Before Install! Just like all the Forum Members do before RMerlin FW upgrades. I also do not have my NAS open, except via vpn, and the 2FA was New. Followed the Synology Forums throughout their beta/RC stages, and I did not install any but Updates, since the NAS is Mission Critical.

KILLMON KILLMON v1.1.2 -Feb 29, 2024- IP4/IP6 VPN Kill Switch Monitor & Configurator (Now available in AMTM!)

@Viktor Jaep I laughed when I read your post, because I thought you were posting a New Feature, and not what you posted. You are so expeditious at doing so much with your coding skills, and I thought "dang", and in 15 minutes. Big Thank You For All Your Assistance To These Forums!
