Release [FORK][DSL] GNUton's Merlin builds for DSL Router 386.1_2 released.

Don’t know if this is the right place to report an issue, DoT makes the router unusable when enabled. I observed an overall instability when tried to use it on DSL-68u, latest version 386.07_2.gnuton1

Hi Dave, The FlexQoS is amazing tool for me. At home, my ADSL speed is 10/1M and you can't believe how amazingly well, FlexQoS achieves to prioritize streaming services over Other & Downloads classes. It even identifies as download class any icloud connection (for example when uploading or...

Adaptive QoS >> Bandwidth Monitor , sorting options?

I am using Merlin's firmware for the past 4-5 years and I am very happy with it. Sometimes, when trying to troubleshoot slow connection problems, I tend to open Bandwidth Monitor page and look there what's going on. It would be very helpful, if there were sorting options so that devices...

Release [FORK][DSL] GNUton's Merlin builds based on 386.3_2 have been released for DSL-AX82U and DSL-AC68U

Hi GNUton, I have just ordered a DSL-AC68 and planning on using it as a child AiMesh node at home. The main router is an RT-AC68U running latest stable of Merlin. What I have understood so far is that DSL model has no dedicated WAN port. In the AiMesh System, a child node needs to be...

Routing between VPN server 1 and server 2

I have an Asus RT-AC68U (location B) in which I have setup the two openVPN servers. The VPN server 1 is dedicated for regular LAN access from devices in the Internet. The VPN server 2 is used for a site-to-site vpn with another Asus RT-AC68U in Location A. The diagram of my setup can be found...

Access to VPN server certificates using terminal

I have setup a site to site VPN using two Asus RT-AC68U routers. About one month ago I upgraded the router (which is used as openVPN server) to latest Asus merlin. The router works, and I can connect to it using VPN, but I lost access to web interface. To my understanding, the best advice is to...

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.2.4 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

In regards to the VPN, there was a discussion happening in this point of forum . Maybe it can provide some more information. I asked previously about the VPN topic because I noticed that latest FlexQoS did not cap my VPN down speed based on WAN's UP limit (as it used to be in 1.0.6). Although...

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.2.4 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

Hi Dave, many thanks for your quick answer and help. Enabling/Disabling the QoS is also fine. By the way, I really enjoyed the new graphs, very very helpful! In my case, I have a very limited ADSL line with upload speed at around 0.8-0.9Mbps. I sense that QoS keeps some BW reserved so...

Site to Site VPN - how to restrict access for specific devices?

When I took the vpn connection off and restarted everything, everything went back to normal. I don't want to go into detail on why/how apple TV acts like that, because as mentioned before, everything is possible with Apple. From my perspective, the most common solution to the above issue would...
