Asus RT-AC88U with 384_9 firmware - reboot after IPSec vpn connection

Unfortunately, it's no errors in the log. It's only last record with blocked ip packet and immediatelly after it - the boot records immediatelly after this unplanned reboot: Mar 13 09:18:29 kernel: DROP IN=eth0 OUT= MAC=04:92:26:6b:ee:f8:4c:5e:0c:75:b1:2b:08:00 SRC=40.67.248.104...

[Solved] AC86U - possible memory leaks. AiProtection(dcd) crashing is guilty

Thanks for the idea. Excuse me for poor descibing of the current setup. No DLNA, no filesharing, no any "non router" related tasks. P.S. I made the first post update with more details.

    [ SOLVED ] Can't remove file in /jffs

Really good propostion. Or you can try to quote it rm "on´_hold_vsftp.postconf" or rm "./on´_hold_vsftp.postconf" Or escape it rm on\´_hold_vsftp.postconf or rm ./on\´_hold_vsftp.postconf P.S. Via ssh or web cmd interface (if it is still available)

[Solved] AC86U - possible memory leaks. AiProtection(dcd) crashing is guilty

Dear L&LD, to close the topic with "proper" preparation: Yes, I made a full reset. With wiping the jffs, and all other usual things. An it was done 2 weeks before I made the first post in this thread ... I know all these procedures, if you paid small attention - I'm on this forum from the same...

[Solved] AC86U - possible memory leaks. AiProtection(dcd) crashing is guilty

My new one AC86U was setup from scratch as a replacement for my old one RT-N66U. It has running 384.8.2 version of Asuswrt-Merlin. It has installed on : Entware, amtm, Diversion, Skynet, Stubby and FreshJR QOS. May be the root cause of an issue is USB3 port. I will try to check it, by changing a...

[Solved] AC86U - possible memory leaks. AiProtection(dcd) crashing is guilty

Hi. I have an issue on my AC86U - after some period of time the cpu consumption by [usb-storage] process start growing After that the dhcp (i.e. dnsmasq) is going to be unresponcible, due to I use diversion, which was dependent on usb performance, where blacklists are located. The simple...

    Stubby-Installer-Asuswrt-Merlin

    I use some simple start script. In my S61stubby I refer to /opt/etc/init.d/rc.func.my instead /opt/etc/init.d/rc.func It mostly identical to /opt/etc/init.d/rc.func, but I made replacement for the $PREARGS $PROC $ARGS > /dev/null 2>&1 & with if [ "`echo $PREARGS $PROC $ARGS | grep -c...

    Asus RT-AC86U - Running Diversion + Skynet + Stubby - connection problems

I have a similar setup. Please check two things: 1. Does dns service is working? Simple do a command "nslookup www.google.com", for example. 2. Check with top, what process use most CPU resources. In my case it was usb_something(I'm not in home, and can't check now). In the same time I...

    Weird DNS issue on 384.9

Yes, about names - it's my mistake. addn-hosts=/jffs/etc/dnsmasq.d/dnsmasq.hosts And it will solve the issue, when dhcp-lease for exact hosts didn't provided, by some reasons. The nslookup will return the right name, due to dnsmasq will know the pair Ip and dns independently from the lease...

    Weird DNS issue on 384.9

Or you can use some thing like addn-hosts=/jffs/etc/dnsmasq.d/dnsmasq.hosts in dnsmasq.conf.add Example of dnsmasq.hosts is 192.168.1.2 foo.somewhere.net foo P.S. Edited, thanks to ColinTaylor

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Excuse me, but no. It is only one entware installation. Please look in your code - if it found an "$1/entware /tmp/opt" in post-mount, it fully erase existing content by 'echo "#!/bin/sh" >/jffs/scripts/post-mount'. After that it checks, if the swapon was exists, and add it to the empty, on...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

    But I have my own post-mount script. And today I found a root cause of erasing it in the your install.div check_old_jffs(){ ... if [ -f "/jffs/scripts/post-mount" ] && grep -q '\$1/entware.* /tmp/opt\|generated by AB-Solution' /jffs/scripts/post-mount; then [ -f...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Hi, version 4.0.7 just replace my post-mount script. Result file is: #!/bin/sh #swapon /tmp/mnt/entware/myswap.swp # Swap file created by amtm . /jffs/scripts/post-mount.div # Added by Diversion I tested it several times, after restoring my own post-mount (with size 1 879 b) and...

Excuse me, but was something changed in port-forwarding ? Now my AC86U still in the test, so not on the border, but inside of home network. I tried to monitor them by zabbix, from his "WAN" interface, but without lucky ... I made the next record in the port forwarding But cannot connect at...

Confirm. Thanks! Will you look on services-stop and unmount ? As I found previously, service-stop was run during reboot only from command line and unmount - only during firmware upgrade.
