    YazFi YazFi v4.x

Does anyone else have issues with their Guest Network not restarting after a router Reboot? I'm using Guest Network #2 and Yazfi (though that may be irrelevant) and my router is automatically rebooting once a week. Every time, my Guest Network gets disabled and does not restart when things...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 is now available

Dirty update from 386.1 to 386.2.2 on both my main router and aimesh node (both RT-AC68U units). Everything working beautifully; nice and peppy. And maybe it's my imagination, but my aimesh node seems to be acquiring and swapping connected devices better than ever. Thanks as always, RMerlin!

Skynet No Stats in Skynet's WebUI but plenty in CLI ...

This morning my Stats are back displaying in the GUI. And I did absolutely nothing to try to get them back. I guess, based on timing, one may or may not get stats displayed.

Skynet No Stats in Skynet's WebUI but plenty in CLI ...

Sneakytiki, yes me as well. When I uninstall and reinstall Skynet the WebUI shows stats for a while, then goes away again. But in my case, the Syslog Location setting is not changing and staying at Default as it should. BTW, when I updated the firmware to Merlin 386.1, I did a full factory...

Skynet No Stats in Skynet's WebUI but plenty in CLI ...

New to Skynet, so I suspect this is an easy one. But occasionally the Skynet page on the router GUI will show "No Data to Display" where stats were shown earlier in the day. And logging into Skynet via the CLI/SSH shows plenty of stats. (See images below.) I see that there is an "Update...

    RT-AC68U - ssh is 'flaky'

My SSH using Putty on my RT-AC68U is as solid as can be. Always has been. (Currently running RMerlin's 386.1)

"Wireless Log" doesn't show AiMesh node connections

I hadn't noticed this, but my Wireless Log page displays the same way as you describe. (Two RT-AC68U's in my network). And trying to access the AiMesh GUI directly does automatically return to the Router GUI. I'm pretty sure they designed AiMesh to return back in this manner.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

Hi Ray, I updated from 384.17 to 386.1. No need to flash each intermediate firmware. Below is a post where I describe how I did mine. Bill https://www.snbforums.com/threads/asuswrt-merlin-386-1-is-now-available.69783/page-39#post-660759

    spdMerlin The future of spdMerlin

Thanks! That's seems like an odd place to put it. If one isn't interested in Adaptive QoS, like me, they'd never think to go there. Tools or Network Tools would seem to make more sense, but whatever. Thanks again.

    spdMerlin The future of spdMerlin

Maybe I'm blind, but where did ASUS tuck the Ookla Speedtest in firmware 386 GUI? I'd like to compare it to spdMerlin, but can't find it. (ASUS documentation is lacking and non-existent in many regards). Bill

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

Successfully updated from 384.17 to 386.1 on my aging, but dependable RT-AC68U. Everything working well and as expected. I considered doing a dirty update and "see what happens". But decided to do it right and did a full factory default reset and manual reconfiguration. GUI came back up...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

How about if going from 384.17 ? Just looking for thoughts and/or recommendations. I know I can always factory reset and go to 386.1 that way, but looking to save a little time if direct upgrade is doable. Bill

uiDivStats uiDivStats - WebUI for Diversion statistics

I uninstalled uiDivStats and did another reboot of the router. Now my CPU numbers look good/normal. Still can't see my Aimesh node, but I'll get that sorted out. A disk check on the USB drive shows no issues. So for now I'm good. I'll reinstall uiDivStats at a later date. BTW I have about...

uiDivStats uiDivStats - WebUI for Diversion statistics

Well, duh. (grin) I rebooted and got the correct Tab added to LAN. But still no stats. So I went into AMTM, clicked J5 to go into uiDivStats and it immediately started "1st time stats generation". I wouldn't have expected it to immiately do anythin. But I was intending to go in and update...

uiDivStats uiDivStats - WebUI for Diversion statistics

Nope, I don't see that Tab under LAN. I *do* still have the tab under ADDONS. It's where I was looking for and seeing the empty stats. Bill

uiDivStats uiDivStats - WebUI for Diversion statistics

Last week, via Amtm, I updated all my scripts to the latest versions, including Diversion and uiDivStats. All updated nicely and with no issues. But I show no Diversion stats in the UI. I even waited a week so that Diversion would do it's weekly thing - thinking that might be why the UI...

Asus RT-AC5300 Smart Connect on or off?

You need an Option 5 which most replies seem to be using: SC Disabled - Using different SSIDs. I want to decide which Band is most appropriate for the particular Device(s). WG

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Thanks @L&LD. A second reformat of the USB device did the trick. Diversion Standard and all it's required tools are now installed and running.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Stupid question probably, but I tried to install Diversion Lite on my ASUS RT-AC68U router but I got a message telling me the USB drive is "readable but not writable". So I exited the install. As background, I formatted the USB drive via Windows to NTSF. Then using AMTM, I formatted the drive...

    The rmerlin donation thread.

Donation made. I just recently downloaded Merlin's FW and it is solid as a Rock. Thanks for your time supporting ASUS routers and this forum.
