    great cheers. Yes, indeed the only other issue that I am aware of is the dead ac86u sitting in the corner of my room I think because of this chip issue. I plan to get a new AX86u or a gt-ax6000 on January 1st (following reviews I feel comfortable with) as the sales right now show great prices...

    interesting about the link you gave me, neither of my browsers (DDG and brave) will open it "site cant be reached" ya i wish i did the merlin thing months ago... I found a way using incognito but its a link to sign into my router, should i be looking for some tab or....?

It would still be a reasonable set up by ditching the 68u and having the ax86u as the main unit aimeshed with the others? The smb i would look at for sure to spend up to 280 cad for a device that...

    Yes i sw the gtax6000 ugly is its middle name but still down to $319 with BB. Just need something in between ax86u and wifi 6e? Excuse my ignorance but whats smb?

    Heres my thing, the unit is now 2 years old. You cant future proof i get that but likewise dont want to drop the cash and there is a better unit than the ax86u. I dont have gaming just good old fashioned streaming, 3 kids and the usual alexa and google device

    My 86u acted up last week and no matter what i did, it would not connect to internet. Light on the front remained red. I took my other 86u and plugged that in to the same ethernet port as well and it worked. My old 68u fired up straight away so all remains good so far. Aimesh set up with 2 86u...

    Hi and apologies in advance for my ignorance but what does this all mean? I dont have mine like this pre upgrade to latest firmware, do i need to do the DoT stuff, DNS privacy protocol? i have my DNS server set to cloudfare, cheers

    Just checked and my 2.4 shows channel 1 and another channel at the same time. Before it was on one channel only so what the Heck?

    dirty upgrade on my three 86U and wow speed is so much better.Watch and wait mode is my next task
