    I have the same thing going from official to beta release and noticed quite a speed drop. Chatted with a few folks and the speed is fine really but the patch to fix the bug security issues made me stick with the beta release.

    spotted a deal for a new (open box) RT Ac86u for $162 plus shipping so i pulled the trigger and this will compliment my 2 other 86U. Do i really need my 68u anymore?I might have some great coverage if i keep it eh? cheers

    no offence intended I just am trying to navigate the minefield that is router firmware and DNS. Everything was fine with quad 9 until i downloaded the firmware and then it slowed down. I do want to have some control over what and where i am directing my traffic but as i say its just very busy...

    Hi not bothered too much about the temp stuff but i was getting good speed and loading of pages with quad 9 prior to the download of 9004386 41994. So i am sad to move off of quad 9 but will take a look at your suggestion, cheers mate

    so am not using a vpn and my isp is showing fine then the DNS all show 6 servers in Washington and i am in Alberta Canada. Also I had Quad 9 as my DNS before my upgrade.

    Hi, so I have reached my limitation here, I have no idea what you are asking me lol, sorry. I have my WAN DNS setting to quad 9 configurations on my router, that's it. Do I need to do more or......? #newbie

    I appreciate the conversation around slow speeds, thank you. The only thing that has not changed since I updated to this software is the DNS settings. I still have Quad9 in place, is there anything else I should be reviewing around the DNS? Thanks

    Since my update, my web pages take a bit longer to load up. I did the dirty upgrade cos I didn't want all the hard work entailed with my 30 connected devices however I might just have to eh? Otherwise its problem-free so far

    Gotcha, so my chromebook is basically not able to get the same numbers as it must be maxxed out.

    Nope, I have ip address then advanced, network and proxy. The only thing I do see which is greyed out is connection type which says direct internet connection
