    uhOH..that sounds like the same thing I have been dealing with. In my testing, pulling the CAT6 cable didn't really generate a certified WAN event (never saw service-event call WAN with code and interface) but a link state issue. I had to pull power cable from the cable modem to get a true test.

    Well…got 18 days this month. This was indicative of a larger problem somewhere. Spectrum rebooted the cable modem and both primary and backup WAN were active this morning (no failback) and nothing was being logged anywhere.

    Solved...company has a new email to text domain, but the old one is still in place (and working under certain conditions, apparently). Created a short script that notifies via text only.

    Well my isp is going down way too much too. I have dual WAN so it fails over to a LTE hotspot and sends an email. I added the email to text as a CC with the address format 1112223456@vtec.com and it works but the email is too long for translation to text sms. I just want to send a short one...

    Well here is what I ended up with after much trial, error and rejection by scribe. If someone has other expressions or escape sequences, please let me know. EDIT: had to set it as program - that gave me more entries than I wanted, but I filtered those other, specific messages out.

    I used a statement escaping the parens as you entered, using only "WAN\(0\)" but it didn't work. Then I set the whole message. Maybe WAN(0)_Connection: is considered a program? Let me try that too. I need the entire line as I'm only flagging wan0 failback.

    I am trying to get the message "WAN(0)_Connection: WAN was restored." filtered using the code below. I am pretty sure the parens "()" are the issue, but I haven't been able to escape them using "\" backslash. I'm sure this is simple to the experienced developers that are members of this forum...

    WireGuard is noticeably faster than OVPN but I can’t seems to get any of the notifications of a client connecting using the wgclient scripts. Wgservice works but not even a ripple in the logs when a client connects. Are these scripts for site to site connects and disconnects? Is there anyway...

    GT-AX6000 Refuses to connect via AIMesh

    Well that didnt work for long. Several devices moved to the node and some of them were unexpected. All of a sudden everyone connected to the node stalled. Deleted the node,factory reset it and flashed stock on it. Made it a node again it only one device so far.
