Restoring a backup on another unit of the same model

Never the less I have moved settings with backup, restore on same model/firmware devices with no issues. I would say he has great chance of success if he gets same hardware and firmware Enviado desde mi moto g(8) plus mediante Tapatalk

Restoring a backup on another unit of the same model

Due to differences in hardware, Mac address and other stuff, it most likely will not work. Edit: update the recommendation based on other people's feedback

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.14 (and 384.13_2) are now available

I actually mean Router. I cannot use trend micro and QOS stuff with the AC68 in AP as they are not supported. So I use the AC68 in router mode with no firewall/nat as a necessity. Trend micro and QOS works properly this Way Enviado desde mi moto g(8) plus mediante Tapatalk

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.14 (and 384.13_2) are now available

I wanted to use trend micro and QOS metric's with the AC68 working as access point, but that is not possible, so I reconfigured the AC68's as a router. Had to change some settings from the default ones but it works More details here: https://www.snbforums.com/index.php?posts/540798 Enviado...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.14 (and 384.13_2) are now available

Dirty upgraded my ac68 to 384.14_2 from 384.14 Using Adaptive QoS with fq_codel and trend micro stuff. WiFi, QoS and the basic stuff I use, are still working fine Note: Since the ac68 is working as an internal router, firewall and nat are disabled. I also noticed that when I update from the...

NAT loopback only works when NAT acceleration is disabled

Could it be related to this change? 384.12 (22-June-2019) - CHANGED: The router will now use ISP-provided resolvers instead of local dnsmasq when attempting to resolve addresses, for improved reliability. This reproduces how stock firmware behaves. This only affects name resolution done by the...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.13 is now available

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.13 is now available

2.4 => 20 5 => 20/40/80 2.4 Band is to busy with so many access points out there there to work reliable with 40 channel bandwidth, thus use 20. Sent from my Moto Z3 Play using Tapatalk

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.13 is now available

'cause every body and his dog has a 2.4Ghz access point. If your router is set to 20/40, it will start at 40, then it it will sense interference and go back to 20. Then it will try 40 and the cycle will repeat... Try chanel 36 and 80 will most likely work Sent from my Moto Z3 Play using Tapatalk
