    [ 386.4 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Alpha3 on an AC68U, I can't connect with PPOE on FTTH (timeout waiting for PADO packets). Reverted to Alpha 1 which I've been running without issues since it was released.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker v4.2.x (see new thread for 4.3.x)

What sort of device are you using to view youtube? Diversion youtube ad blocking doesn't work for me on chromecast devices and a Samsung smart TV.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker v4.2.x (see new thread for 4.3.x)

Seems that you're missing libopenssl , try installing the package, i.e. opkg install libopenssl General consensus is that youtube blocking doesn't work.

Management of DDNS when using IPv6 / Overcoming the default: notify_rc("restart_ddns"); command

Same in Malaysia, we've had FTTH for several years. I'm very thankful for the change, as we have the third highest frequency of lightning strikes in the world & I can tell you whatever 'surge protector' you put between a copper telephone line and a modem doesn't work. The lack of ipv4 addresses...

    DIY routers and APs

If you read the OpenWRT forums, updating individual packages is discouraged, as it could break dependencies, it's not like a normal Linux distribution.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker v4.2.x (see new thread for 4.3.x)

I haven't tried but if there's a terminal command, couldn't you setup a cron job?

If it's gmail, try sending individual files, not an archive.

Virtual Com Port Server Setup Help Request

You can place vhusbdarm (and also the config file) wherever you have write permissions. The FAQ is a good place to start reading https://www.virtualhere.com/configuration_faq. Output from 'vhusbdarm -h' on my router: ASUSWRT-Merlin RT-AC68U 386.4_alpha1-g8f4afe6890 Wed Aug 11 16:44:26 UTC...

Virtual Com Port Server Setup Help Request

From what I can infer, you don't have anything on your USB flash drive (sda1), you can save vhusbdarm there if you like, i.e. cd /tmp/mnt/sda1 wget https://www.virtualhere.com/sites/default/files/usbserver/vhusbdarm then adjust the vhusbd script accordingly /tmp/mnt/sda1/vhusbdarm -c...

Virtual Com Port Server Setup Help Request

I think running the Virtualhere USB server daemon on your router may be an easier route. They have a free limited functionality version that may serve the purpose. It works for me to share an Epson scanner on the network.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker v4.2.x (see new thread for 4.3.x)

Looks like your USB flash drive is corrupted, I would run a disk check as a first step.

I can force update Diversion, maybe you need to update the entware ca-certificates package?

Plex Media Server running on AsusWRT Arm Routers!!!

You'd probably get more answers on Plex forums. My experience with Plex when I was running it on a SBC is that it run lots of background jobs, cataloguing, downloading information from databases, etc. Probably it's also uploading information to Plex HQ as it seemed to be becoming increasingly...
