    Adding to this thread, yesterday I had a similar problem with 'Invalid Firmware Upload 'upgrading an AC68U from 386.1 to 386.1_2. I double checked the firmware download was correct and the checksum and tried a different browser - tried both Vivaldi (Chrome) and Firefox; I was using a laptop...

    I'm running an AC68U and went from 384.19 > beta3 > beta5 > 386.1, DHCP was definitely wobbly going to beta3. I would recommend a factory reset and and reconfiguration. I print my router setting web pages as pdf's and store them for reference to assist the reconfiguration.

    For some reason pixelsrv-tls is crashing upon startup, I can only suggest: Remove any old certificate in /mnt/USB/entware/var/cache/pixelserv/ Run a disk check on your USB drive

    You can check if the pixelserv-tls daemon is running using the rc script, i.e. /opt/etc/init.d/S80pixelserv-tls check if you set the switch for debug logging in diversion - diversion|ep|2| and add -l 5 then restart pixelserv-tls - see if you get more information in the log.

    You could use the netstat command to see what's running on 192.168.1.2, e.g. I think you should already have the netstat binary installed.

    Following your comment and Merlin's advice in the OP, I decided to go back to basics. Early this morning whilst the family were still asleep a reset to 'factory default' was performed. Thankfully the DHCP problem has disappeared, and my phone is now ad-free again.

    Yes DNS filter is set to router; note I haven't changed any settings between 384.19 & beta 2 Tried setting Cloudflare DNS servers under WAN (rather the Automatic) - this setting change has no effect, I expect it's overridden by the DoT servers setting anyway. I'm flagging this issue as a...

    No it's a Oneplus, DNS is not hardcoded. The beta firmware has a different behaviour to 384.19. The issue was discussed in this thread https://www.snbforums.com/threads/ads-only-blocked-on-laptops.67118/post-626436.

    I've changed the DNS setting on the WAN page to 'connect to DNS server automatically' (I'm using DoT). Still getting 8.8.8.8 as the second DNS server on my phone.

    RT-AC68U beta 2: LAN|DHCP settings, I have the router ip4 address set as DNS servers 1 & 2, also router ip set for WAN|DNS servers 1 & 2. My Android phone configured for DHCP sets DNS2 as 8.8.8.8. With version 384.19 my phone DNS servers set by DHCP were both the router ip. beta 1 same...

    Just hazarding a guess, have you tried different NAT helper settings under WAN | NAT Passthrough?
