    Well using a paid VPN will bypass all protection and put you at the mercy of the VPN provider and their DNS server records etc. Frankly I would not trust any VPN provider for more than basic streaming and even then don't like it. TOR or even TAILS OS is the only way to achieve any true...

    Thanks Merlin. I had the same issue with a safelinking site. Nothing would work with Diversion and Skynet running so I just used the TOR Browser which should be fairly safe with these sites. If one is very concerned they can use TAILS OS on a laptop or VM. Don't bypass protection otherwise...

    Use TOR Browser to get to it instead - it has a natural level of protection against a few things. At least until you are sure. And TOR Browser will bypass the router protection too. Just read up on TOR Browser if you intend to use it much.

    Whitelist to a secure browser is your best option and just block everything else on the client.
