ASUS AC66 wireless scheduler feature request

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe if the connection is already established than it won't break the current connection. There's a way to setup a job to restart the wireless through a cron job but I'm not sure how. A search or someone else with more savvy can respond.

Apple Powerbook 2012 Model WOL Issue

Never worked from day one with any of the apple desktop or laptops we had in the house. I'm beginning to think that there's something proprietary going on with these apple products. Have been using WOL for years and no issues with PC's.

Wondering if anyone has had any success using the WOL feature in the merlin/john fork with a 2012 MacBook Pro. Entware after reboot

How did you create the ext3 partition on your external drive....if you used any sort of windows utility it won't work right on the ac66u. I had the same issue with transmission not working and looked like it got deleted after a reboot....boot into a Linux live cd from any distro and use it to...

    Request: Cleaning Download Master

Try using transmission client through entware. There's a WIKI in here on how to setup entware and then install transmission. I also use a swap file which helps a great deal with the stability of my AC 66. I've had up to 15 torrents seeding with no huge ill effects even while running Netflix and...

    Using ATA with RT-AC66U

Please see image below as illustrated by my coworker...not the exact same device but doesn't matter. He says there's nothing to do with the wrp400 device. Reset it to factory and don't worry about anything else for now. Make sure that the WAN setting on the wrp400 is set to dhcp so that it grabs...

    Using ATA with RT-AC66U

    Using ATA with RT-AC66U

This is how I would do it so that it always gets the same IP and I never have to worry about configuring manually the wrp device. 1. Setup the WRP400 to use automatic DHCP assignment and turn off ALL router functions 2. Go to the ASUS router and find the IP it's been assigned and use DHCP...

    Using ATA with RT-AC66U

For ease of setup if you haven't followed what you did during testing is to reset to factory which is what I do when I lose track of what I've done :)...then turn off all router and wireless features so that it's a basically dumb ATA switch like the settings you've mentioned above...anything not...

    Using ATA with RT-AC66U

A coworker has a similar setup and the easiest way was to put the ATA back to default settings...connect it back to the one of the Asus router lan ports and let it grab an IP...then once that's done place the ATA ip that it grabbed into the ASUS DMZ zone...bingo works perfect for the last year...
