    [Thread-1] [ 386.1_Alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

RT AX56U-386.1_alpha2-g9675e20696 In Traffic Analyzer - Statistic, Traffic count doesn't work properly (shows way less traffic). In QoS - WAN/LAN Bandwidth Monitor, Download traffic doesn't show up even if in Network Map, Internet Traffic, traffic does seem properly displayed.

Stability of Asuswrt-Merlin vs Stock Firmware

For many years i had various Asus-Merlin routers never such problem also for me. Keep you browser healthy, clean cache, check installed addons and you should be fine. You can't compare a 700-800$ network equipment with modest 150-250$ router.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.18 and 384.13_10 is now available

AX56U flashed just fine as always. Settings by hand after a factory erase (from time to time). Everything is working perfectly. (But i wish i could install CakeQOS) AX56U+Merlins FW= topnotch performance. (Edgerouter X is positioned back to drawer :D).

    [384.18_Alpha Builds] Testing all variants

I don't care what Asus thinks and decides from now on. Explaining. Merlin's firmware flow is severely disrupted because of Asus inconsistency in firmware GPL releasing and models source code mismatching. Merlin's firmware over the years (and we are all at least grateful for this) was a serious...

    NextDNS Installer

@Olivier Poitrey is it possible to use nextdns service, with encrypted dns, on a Asus router running official firmware ?

    [384.18_Alpha Builds] Testing all variants

AX56U Latest beta. I like performing a factory restore so i keep my setup simple as i can. NextDNS installed on routers memory. Performance (and wifi) is stellar. I still can't believe how amazingly fast AX56U is. No problems, no hiccups, no nothing.

    NextDNS Installer

Latest version is 1.8.x if i am correct. Still not in Git. Upd. My version is also 1.6.3 ... After many many hours on screens you can see a 6 as 8 ... My mistake.

amtm amtm - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu

For what reason he should do that ? wifi schedule already exists in "Professional" tab in FW.

amtm amtm - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu

@thelonelycoder agreed. It makes no sense. Disabling LEDs from AsusWrt System tab (Disable LEDs=Yes) wifi schedule remains. Maybe "service restart_leds" is the reason ? ... did some log work. It seems when Disable LED Y/N changes runs a more than needed service restart ? "rc_service: httpd...

amtm amtm - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu

@thelonelycoder Enabling LED control disables my wifi time schedule. Schedule seems OK in FW but doesn't work anymore. Disabling LED control wifi schedule works again.

    [384.18_Alpha Builds] Testing all variants

Sure @Kingp1n My line is a 55/5. Asus in bridge mode with ISP's modem(with Voip). I was using Adaptive QoS but Traditional QoS seems much better in terms of responsiveness and overall throughput. I also have to notice how good NextDNS for Merlin's fw is working... i am about to get a premium...
