    7756 turns 160MHz bandwidth on by default, turn that off should fix the problem

    I assume you use latest firmware for the router (stock or merlin's) 160Mhz cause issue for my primary computer, so I dont even turn it on as not all my device support 160Mhz and most likely will need driver update for my device. have you tried fixed channel on the router? instead of auto it...

    are you using smart connect (same ssid for both 2.4Ghz n 5Ghz)? or different ssid for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz? cuz it sounds like phone might be connected to 2.4Ghz first as 2.4Ghz has longer range. it might just take time to switch? if anything, try disable smart connect and see if it works for the...

    ya it works just fine for me. I run ryzen 3700x w/ Crosshair VII hero, dont have any issue w/ 1903. picked it up @ 2017, has been running fine for me. before you switch, I would also try the device manager method to force installation of the driver w/o the asus software as well.

    I dont use it, but I would assume it's close source, so basically same as stock. if anything, I would say just load the stock firmware, reset and test. if it works on stock > load merlin's and see if it works

    i just turned on the ipsec vpn, i have no trouble access internet after connected to the ipsec vpn on my android device over mobile wifi. I only used simple alphanumeric shared key w/ simple account and password for quick test didnt change anything

    if you want to use merlin, GT model is out of question AC86U's cpu is newer than AC88U's (I think) AX88U has quadcore CPU, so i guess that's the only option? but I dont know how much improvement it will provide.

    it is def odd for the 2.4Ghz just stop working like that and comes back when you revert the update. if it works for 384.6, should work fine with 384.13 without issue. assuming you dont have anything script / usb drive attaches to the router. might wanna remove all those before flash and reset...

    dont have the issue for my ac3100 my suggestion is to power cycle and use the wps method to reset the router. power off the router for 30 sec+ hold the wps button while powering on, wait till the power led to start blinking/flashing then release the wps button now wait for the the router...
