    So, I've got the speed back by dropping just QOS. The DNS server thing was/is a Nord problem, best as I can determine. Only thing left now is to restore the ability to get to the modem gui at 192.168.100.1...

    So there is just a few bits of weirdness currently going on with my router: 1. With router reset to factory via the gui, I get full speed (equal to modem/computer direct test) from my modem/router combo. After my fairly simple config is loaded, I'm losing 250mbps? With nothing set, 950mbps...

    Ah! I'll try that shortly! I keep Guest networks on by default (no intranet access as a policy), so that may well be it. Any additional hints on accessing the IPv6 table rules?

    Here are the entries for Nord VPN on/off in the router. It works as advertised (slow but steady!) when used systemwide with the router, about 1/5 the speed when VPN is used in the local PC...which is a router cpu limit, I believe. The VPN is testing with no leaks or other glitches, but thought...

    After some short-lived misconduct and a reboot, Alpha 3 rocks! It is coming on 2 days of steady operation, & I'm satisfied. The VPN works as usual, the log is running no unusual items, WiFi on my router didn't auto check the disable '11b,'and that keeps things steady here!-)

    Any idea about how I'd resolve it or what caused it? I'll try reinstalling the VPN client in the mean time, but I am clueless as to why this just developed while running the VPN...

    I do have all traffic routed through the VPN, but this is the thing that's new and I've never seen: 'Aug 24 17:48:29 dnsmasq[2799]: Maximum number of concurrent DNS queries reached (max: 150).' When that item dropped into the log, that's when the internet traffic stopped? My VPN Client...

    So here is some more VPN weirdness that resulted in Nord VPN shutdown when run from the router... Aug 23 21:44:15 ovpn-client1[2751]: --cipher is not set.
