    CakeQOS CakeQoS-Merlin v2.1.1

No, but that's why I said I was interested in what it could do on traffic load. I play UDP based games that are very sensitive to any jitter or any fluctuations and have found different settings give the most responsive play in different circumstances so I wanted to tinker with your script and...

    CakeQOS CakeQoS-Merlin v2.1.1

DSL-ax82u, and I'm already using CakeQoS-Merlin v2.1.2, I was interested in testing the automatic change on traffic load from the autorotate script.

    CakeQOS CakeQoS-Merlin v2.1.1

It would be great if there was any possibility this could be run without needing a USB drive, I use the USB port to power a Ubiquiti USW-Flex

@dave14305 I've just seen a post from last year saying you're using qosify now, is that still the case? Is that usable on Merlin?

Beta [FORK] [DSL] [TESTERS] GNUton's Alpha/Beta Merlin builds

I see an upcoming change with 3004.388.5 builds is: - CHANGED: Display tracked connections on the QoS/Classification page even if QoS isn't set to Adaptive QoS. Does this impact CPU or other resources when not looking at that page? If so will there be an option to turn off that data gathering?

    CakeQOS CakeQoS-Merlin v2.1.1

Isn't the egress default dual-srchost that incorporates flows superior?

    CakeQOS CakeQoS-Merlin v2.1.1

It used to be they could at best use only Level 1 - CTF (Cut Through Forwarding) with Adaptive - https://www.speedguide.net/faq/what-is-nat-acceleration-495 , and not Flow Acceleration. But with newer models using Archer I don't know, I'm out of date.

    CakeQOS CakeQoS-Merlin v2.1.1

All the QoS options and the Traffic Analyzer disable acceleration, the inspection is done by CPU so packets can't just run through the acceleration hardware as that is bypassing the CPU.

Beta [FORK] [DSL] [TESTERS] GNUton's Alpha/Beta Merlin builds

3004.388.4_0-gnuton0_beta2 DSL-AX82U Two minor things on Administration -> Firmware upgrade page , not sure if it's worth filing github issues for but I will if asked, if there is a better site/thread now as this seams dead I have not found yet it, sorry - 1. Firmware update check is failing...

Beta [FORK] [DSL] [TESTERS] GNUton's Alpha/Beta Merlin builds

I think 388.1_0-gnuton1 may have a leak, unless it's a ram stored log that just grows a lot. If it's a leak it's either very slow to grow, or it's caused by QoS (cake), or the QoS - WAN/LAN Bandwidth Monitor, and perhaps only if you change settings a lot or turn the latter on/off a lot. After...

Connected device not shown on "Network Map" -> Clients list

Thank you, this worked still on 388.1_0-gnuton1 I tried this before seeing the 'killall networkmap' suggestion I will try that if it happens again. It was disconcerting seeing 90% bandwidth being used up on the traffic monitor and bandwidth monitor, but every device listed using a total of...

    CakeQOS CakeQoS-Merlin v2.1.1

You need a VPN with Split Tunnelling, I wouldn't expect QoS management to be mangled into doing that for you.

Beta [FORK] [DSL] [TESTERS] GNUton's Alpha/Beta Merlin builds

Unstable: 388.1_0-gnuton0_beta3 DSL-AC68U owners use https://github.com/gnuton/asuswrt-merlin.ng/releases/tag/386.9_0-gnuton0_beta1 instead, the 388 branch is not for that hardware.

Beta [FORK] [DSL] [TESTERS] GNUton's Alpha/Beta Merlin builds

beta1 was released the day after you posted this, has that fixed this for you? I'm tempted to install it but wary of this issue.

Beta [FORK] [DSL] [TESTERS] GNUton's Alpha/Beta Merlin builds

G.INP solves errors such as impulse noise, vectoring combats crosstalk, different problems and they can be used together so I wouldn't say alternative was quite the right term ( one example source https://kitz.co.uk/adsl/retransmission.htm )

Beta [FORK] [DSL] [TESTERS] GNUton's Alpha/Beta Merlin builds

DSL-AX82U Had the firmware update notification again, the visit download site button then goes to https://fwupdate.asuswrt-merlin.net/DSL-AX82U which is a dead page, this happened with the release before also. If I remember right before that one it used to go to...

Release [FORK][DSL] GNUton's Merlin builds based on 386.3_2 have been released for DSL-AX82U and DSL-AC68U

Running 386.04_0-gnuton1 it's 'visit download site' button for a firmware update sent me to https://fwupdate.asuswrt-merlin.net/DSL-AX82U which was not found on the server, hitting that button in previous versions went to a useful page but I cannot remember the URL. I won't know if this is a...

I'm not using DNSFilter, but it's using the router's DNS, I'll take a look at Diversion thanks that will make it easier.
