    RT-AC68U Dual wan question

    Never had it working with auto fallback in either AsusWRT Merlin or stock firmware for years having two PPPOE fiber connections. Not sure if Asus has done anything to fix it since RMerlin doesn't touch Dual WAN code.

    Was this from 384.4 or the new alpha version? I'm seeing the date in 384.4, although, not the correct date though, it hasn't been updated for a while now, same problem with stock firmware.

    @Daspied Factory reset, flash to 384.4_2,(possibly another factory reset) restart, and then manually config everything again. 384.4_2 contains some security fixes over 384.3

    I had this problem too in either 380 or 382 branch. Had to manually restart as you did, but then the problem is just gone after that. So it might just sometimes occur randomly? But it's probably nothing significant as I didn't notice any performance impact at the time nor did it happen...

    Do you think you will be using VPN/USB sharing any time soon? If you use any of that, AC86U is the only choice I would choose.     Keep in mind that RT-AC86U is newer than RT-AC88U, newer hardware/platform. Although WiFi throughput is slightly slower, I don't think it will be that much of a difference. Asus seems to replace RT-AC68U with this new RT-AC86U. If that is the case, RT-AC86U probably get faster firmware...

    The way I downloaded certificate was by accessing Web-GUI, and then use chrome built-in option/tool to download router certificate. But I am not sure if there is easier way to download it now. There is an option to download Let's Encrypt Certificate just by a single click, but not sure about...
