    So, as of now, one cannot turn DSL-AC68U to work as Merlin firmware on RT-AC68U? I won't try stock firmware of RT-AC68U since both stock firmwares are just as bad. Is there any reason, that I am not aware of, why one would use stock firmware of RT-AC68U on DSL-AC68U?

    After several reboots, now it's just about 10MB more on average, which is about the size of AdsbeGone. I just had my ISP changed at the beginning, so I am not sure which extra services were running at the time.
