    Yep...I see this in my logs as well...but mine didn't update as I ran update manually..guess will find out with next release if it does indeed auto update firmware.

    No auto update on my AC86U...been manually updating since i've owned it.

    Just wait until Asus releaeses firmware that craps the performance and have to wait months for them to fix it (ala AC86U, LOL)

    I'm going to wait for Wifi 6e routers (but the AX86u is tempting, although i don't have any Wifi 6 devices so i wont really take any advantage in speed over my AC86u)

    I have a 2019 model and its been rock solid on latest asus stock going on 34 days without any issues..so its not all doom and gloom.

    I can tell you massive diff in performance between my old n66u and ac86 purchased last year.
