    No dice for me on latest Asus stock..went back to Asus Merlin 386.3_2....will see how it goes.

    Actually this happened not after setup, but 7 days after my last reset full re-config. I loaded the June firmware and the cores crashed only 10 minutes after reboot . So for now, im actually back on Merlin 386.3_2 and will see how things go.

    I'm going to load June firmware and reset router and go from there. I'll miss some patches, but it's annoying that it rebooted on it's own (shouldnt be the case)

    So yours is doing it too?...sounds like firmware bug (yes, otherwise it's been solid wifi signal etc)

    I updated to latest firmware, but i think there may be a driver bug or something going on as my router rebooted on its own taking internet down briefly. Can anyone suggest a rock solid firmware other than the latest that i could try out?

    After doing a second full reset a couple of days ago (through the GUI), the router rebooted on its own with internet at the same time. Could this be a firmware related bug to drivers? I am seeing some of these messages below kernel: httpd (1541): drop_caches: 1

    I had to reset my AX86U after flashing latest firmware cause it was acting funny.... 6 days later rock solid. I cant speak for the AX68U, but AX86U is def worth the upgrade. If you can swing it and find one, i'd return AX68U and pick up an AX86U

    Yes, set to CH 48. I havent tried that on my Note 20 U (will give it a shot). If that doesnt work, i wont waste too much time. At least i know its working with my Win 11 laptop.

    Got it just came up...oddly enough, my ac laptop is at 160ghz..my note 20 U is AX capable but router picked up at 80ghz..interesting.

    Yep, same thing with my setup. Have to manually enable 160MHz for both of my AX clients to connect at 160. The auto setting should work, maybe they'll fix in future firmware update.

    RT-AX86 Series

    I've had AX86U running for 2 days or so (picked up from B&H photo and went OOS within 1 day) and rock solid. Uploaded latest firmware, factory reset, setup like my old AC86U. I agree on US pricing, if you can find and AX86U, its def a better buy than the AX86S.
