    OpenVPN can't route to LAN

    mystery resolved. I did a factory reset on security camera a while back for other reasons, somehow that set the default gateway to 192.168.1.254 instead of the correct value of 192.168.1.1. Now i can access the security camera over VPN as desired . Thanks for all the help.

    thanks for the help. I figured out that i could access the server LAN over VPN , but it seems to be only for certain protocol? For example, I can use a RDS client on my iphone to RDS into a window 7 machine on 192.168.xx.xxx address , but the reason i initially thought i couldn't access...
