    Odd I stopped rebooting my router every week. Tired of my IOT plugs hanging on the wrong router after reboots. Its up for 29 days now Looks like the traffic monitor quit working..... Ill reboot it and see what happens .....

    My 86u and 86s have auto update disabled. As flaky as the asus firmware is,I also would be selling these routers if they updated on their own. Never had these issues on my netgear routers. I wonder at times why this router is so highly rated with all the firmware issues? They need more competent...

    The echos are popular I have 2 This makes them a target for hackers My opinion is put them on a Guest network or a separate subnet for safety Mine work very well segregated from the main network. No issues

    Are you leaving the echo on the main network? I dont trust Jeff that much mine is on the IOT subnet with my bulbs and other IOT devices

    Check the memory usage tab. It could be memory leak. Scheduled reboots will clear issue as a band aid

    Happy to report that this Version is stable on both my 86u and 86s in mesh mode. My wifi outlets still revert to the 86u after a reboot. But will eventually migrate back to the 86s.

    I have not. Sometimes they will after a router reboot. But it's always sketchy. They are bound to the mesh router 5 feet away. I'm not really interested in trying to reboot clients to link to that mesh. Then the next time the main router gets rebooted they link to it again.that seems to be the...

    Give it a few more days. I'm still having clients hanging on to the furthest router. Not steering to a router 5 feet away SMH So I'm not impressed.....

    Yes. But it may be to overwhelming at first for you. No offense intended. Try downloading it and running it. It will capture your traffic.     Agreed Some on here may not realize that a memory leak can and will slow performance if severe enough. Hopefully this saves someone some grief. Maybe a simple once a week reboot schedule will be enough to keep the leak at bay. Of course that's dependent on load Looking forward to your...

    Are you tracking or looking for memory leaks.? I thought I read that this hardware was known to have memory leak issues. I dealt with that in the Cisco---- Scientific Atlanta world years back.

    Is everyone doing a dirty upgrade? Or clean wipe and install I just did a clean wipe and reverted to 386 on 86u and 86s and it seems to be stable finally. So I'm apprehensive to upgrade right now.
