    Was/Are a security flaw with compression And it was a recommendation to disable it and clients had warning's when using it maybe they changed in the client not to allow it anymore (could probably be changed in advanced settings in the client)

    On my phone it is under settings network & Internet connection and advanced settings edit: also have "Advertise DNS to clients" set to yes under advanced settings on vpn server settings on the router

    Do you have private DNS enabled/automatic on your android? I have noticed that i can not get vpn server to work when i have that enabled. /Zastoff

    1. Yea if you only want it for specific devices dns director can be used if the service supports ip update via ddns, I do that with nextdns for the kids school devices as a form of parental control on a time schedule. (legacy DNS) Maybe the client @ajp2k14 suggested works better with this...

    @SomeWhereOverTheRainBow can explain better. The second question in the install script can disable(change nvram values for dns-director) specific client (if used) and make them use adguardhome depending on the Y/N answer.

    Seen those when i disconnect client from the server, But no issues connecting to openvpn server.

    Updated to new alpha 2 build on AX88u. Confirming OpenVPN server is working again. Thanks RMerlin

    Tested to disable firewall and now i see connection attempts in syslog but get: Feb 26 20:55:12 RT-AX88U ovpn-server1[264035]: read UDPv4 [CMSG=8|ECONNREFUSED]: Connection refused (fd=9,code=111)

    Checked the server cert and key and it had indeed changed after update to alpha2 I restored the old cert and key and restarted the vpn server, But still no go here.. As written before i do not even see a connection attempt in the router Any ideas? edit: Tested another Android openvpn client...
