    it's a lottery.. 46061 didn't work well for me and others but this version does.

    odd that there are so many issues with wireless nodes. I dirty upgraded from the beta and it seems to be at least as stable for about a week now (80MHz backhaul). Maybe the difference is also that some people might be running it in AP mode and not router mode, like myself.

    yeah, i use fixed channels as well (specially for 2.4ghz because I don't want it to interfere with zigbee), the choice of channels is of course very environment dependent.

    settings? environment? personally I don't enable 160Mhz for the wireless backhaul, only 80MHz because I don't want to use DFS channels which seem to be unreliably available in my case.... still, early days for this firmware version

    so far (since wednesday) it seems stable for me. i'm hoping it'll be as stable as the 46980 beta was. this firmware roulette is starting to get annoying. well actually it's past the point of being annoying already...

    this firmware does indeed seem to be at least as stable as 42095. let's hope they can carry the stability forward to future non beta versions. really a damn shame that there have been so many issues.

    argh.. i knew it.. as soon as I say everything looks stable things happen. i just had to powercycle the mesh node because a laptop couldn't connect to it. sent feedback via the router to asus. oh well, back to 42095

    afaik that hasn't been recommended when moving from one firmware to another since it will apply all the settings as well as old crap from the previous firmware.
