[384.8_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

Thank you, @Treadler. I have all those settings like you, except I haven’t done anything with DNS Filter. After Cloudflare log messages, I tried Quad9 and suffered a DHCP not functioning error in log. Even though status showed it was disconnected, I was still connected? I then re-entered...

[384.8_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

Just a newbie with this stuff. With @skeal helping, I set up Cloudflare in my router and rebind protection. I’ve seen this pop up in the my logs periodically. Anything to worry about? On Alpha 3. Nov 15 12:41:27 dnsmasq[1293]: Insecure DS reply received for 168.192.in-addr.arpa, could be bad...

Mine still show “0”. I think they were this way stock, but I could be wrong.

Low Speed AC87U with New Generation Merlin

I’m unsure why you would be having this issue. Are you using 5Ghz? You could try turning off Univeral Beamforming, under Wireless/Professional settings.

Low Speed AC87U with New Generation Merlin

Hi Esteban, When you updated from 380 to 384, did you reset to factory defaults and input all your settings manually? If you haven’t, this could be the issue. Do not restore your backup. Start fresh.

(RT86U) Fresh install of latest Firmware

Hi Nathan, Upgrade to latest Merlin. Sign into webui and head over to to ‘Administration - Restore/Save/Upload Setting’. Choose “Initialize”, which will reset the router to factory default. Set up again and manually enter all your settings (don’t restore backup).

[384.8_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

Same here. It was running perfectly fine though. You do have some good uptime on the previous build and it’s been working good for you—so if it ain’t broke... :D

[384.8_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

I went back to the previous build for now, since I use the wireless log to quickly monitor for disconnects. The build seems very solid and if you don’t use the log, it should be fine.

Thanks for posting that, @Sicario. Just to add—happening under IE11 and iOS Safari here.

Just an update. I performed a factory reset and still missing.

[384.8_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

Hi @RMerlin, I just loaded latest refreshed alpha. Thank you. I noticed under ‘wireless log’ that 5G is missing. Just 2G present. When I click on ‘display low level details’, just a blank box appears. I did clear my browser cache. Should I reset settings?

No idea when he’ll release an alpha build. Check the pre-beta test builds download folder periodically: https://asuswrt.lostrealm.ca/download

    Running firmware 376.45 on RT-AC68U

384.7_2 is the latest Merlin release. Go with that one. Definitely do a reset. You can simply reset to factory defaults within the router and set up everything manually. Important before you proceed, since you’re on 376.45: https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin/wiki/Installation

[384.8_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

Uptime 1 day 7 hours here on my vanilla setup. I’ve been testing WiFi speeds and they’ve been very consistent. I’m on 400/20. I’m consistently getting the over provisioned speeds of 470+/23 and no disconnects. Very pleased. :)

Did you try turning new version firmware check off and then on again? Might be worth a try. I would do it for beta firmware check as well.
