[384.14_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

Weird. I tried FF (in ubuntu), Edge, Edge based on chrome, internet explorer, Brave browser on an Android phone and none showed me the list . If you clear cookies on your Ubuntu Chrome , it still renders the page correctly?

[384.14_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

Seems like RMerlin fixed this for next build (also re-added missing settings in LAN -> DHCP server): https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin.ng/commit/a512ef62ea0093e37881fc7c019bf6000f7ef4a4 https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin.ng/commit/a500f65ad4ae0d4e4a5bb735d06cb32015bd0c2d I am making...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

I use this list also. Also, I created a list on github (just copied all anudeepND's list) and I add domains which I need to be whitelisted and just use the re-download and process list in Diversion for changes to take place - This way I use hosted whitelist- anudeepND's list + my own changes

Unbound - Authoritative Recursive Caching DNS Server

To make this work we need to append server 127.0.0.1#853 in dnsmasq.postconf (no need for 127.0.0.1#53535 in dnmasq right? it works without appending 127.0.0.1#53535 in dnsmasq)

Try to kill nginx proccess (killall nginx ) and start it again

Unbound - Authoritative Recursive Caching DNS Server

Ngnix fails to start with this config (missing some things). This works: load_module /opt/lib/nginx/ngx_stream_module.so; user nobody; events { } stream { upstream dns-servers { server 127.0.0.1:53535; } server { listen 853 ssl; proxy_pass...

Well... I made it run. It runs now but how do I check that it works as it suppose to?

Unbound - Authoritative Recursive Caching DNS Server

We need ngx_stream_module.so to make this work . So instead of opkg install nginx, we should use: opkg install nginx-extras. And at the top of nginx.conf we need to add this line (without double quotes): "load_module /opt/lib/nginx/ngx_stream_module.so;" But it fails to find the dot-server.crt...

Unbound - Authoritative Recursive Caching DNS Server

Dave what about cach-size in DNSMASQ ? do you also set it to 0 instead of the default 1500? the dnsmasq.postconf you posted is your entire config or is there more below the if section?

Unbound - Authoritative Recursive Caching DNS Server

Another thing. If I can't use DoT, can I at least configure DNS servers in LAN -> DHCP Server settings or somewhere else in order not to use my ISP DNS servers? My ISP dns servers do not support DNSSEC , so at least somehow to use Cloudflare or other dns servers without DoT and without harming...

Unbound - Authoritative Recursive Caching DNS Server

Yes . It works well. I also use Adblocking with Unbound. Uninstalled Diversion for time being. Seems to work fast enough , will continue using this setup for several days to see that everything is fine. Thanks. I hope RMerlin will decide someday to incorporate unbound

Unbound - Authoritative Recursive Caching DNS Server

I also have an issue with adblocking script you put here. It creates an empty adblock server list. Can I make it work with dave's setup ( without DoT) ? (I know I need to add "include: blacklist_path.txt" but your script for some reason creates an empty blacklist.txt) It works.. my mistake

Unbound - Authoritative Recursive Caching DNS Server

Works really well. Waiting to see how this unfolds. Any idea how to add DNS OVER TLS with this setup? -update : I added rgnldo DoT config and it works well . forward-zone: name: "." forward-tls-upstream: yes forward-addr: 1.1.1.1@853#cloudflare-dns.com forward-addr...

pixelserv pixelserv - A Better One-pixel Webserver for Adblock

I have 3 basic questions. 1. Is there a diffrence\does it matter if I download a certificate on my PC to USB disk-on-key (from PIXELSERV-IP\ca.crt) and installing the certificate on each PC from the USB or Download on each PC the ca.crt and install it? 2. on /servstats . Is there a...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

I guess it is still goes to local Dnsmasq because it does block ads and everything works . This what RMerlin wrote about this option: "Local caching has no impact on the LAN, it only affects the router itself, and program running locally on the router (and using /etc/resolv.conf)." I guess...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

I don't understand. When I installed Diversion 4.1.4 it changed "Wan: Use local caching DNS server as system resolver (default: No)" from No to Yes. But then it didn't change it back to No (I have issues when it is set to Yes) . Then I set it to No and decided to try Pixelserv , so I did an...
