    So, it turns out the AiCloud issue is firmware-related. Flashing back to previous version solved it. Yet those sda errors and constant USB reset still remain.

    Yup, after doing a bit more research I figured out this is impossible. CloudDrive is just too demanding for router. For plex, there are binaries for routers? I thought it requires dockers as well. Can you point me a link or such? Btw, my router is armv7.

    Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, your method seems to work. But...there seems to be some problem with my USB disk. The format process of "mke2fs -t ext4 -O has_journal /dev/sda2" finished real quick. More details can be found in this recent thread. Anything I could possibly do to solve it?

    I wish I could use this addon on my XT8 for the 5Ghz-2. Problem is, it's 5Ghz-1 supports 80mhz at most. Only 5Ghz-2 supports 160mhz. If I use this addon, its 5Ghz-1 brand will just keep restarting? Is there any workaround?

    With the help of Merlin Firmwire I've found XT8's CPU model/kernal in details: BCM675x - Cortex A7 ARMv7 revision 5, this might be relevant as far as debian is concerned. Without tutorial I've no idea how to install it tho.
