Slow speedtest results on router compare to LAN clients

No, 702 MB would be over 5600 Mb. I suspect you meant 702 Mb.

    Speedtest giving strange value

Thank you for using accurate prefixes.

    Speed Tests Questions

Another point to consider is that the browser-based Ookla test (speedtest.net) may show lower speeds on many Windows computers than the dedicated Speedtest app. Something to do with the baggage added by Windows, I think. I get the same speeds (220-230Mbps, paying for 200Mbps) with the little...

At least you use accurate abbreviations. Thank you for that!

    AiMesh and Roomba

And that's the rub. If it wanders into a corner where all of the nodes are below -40dB, it's lost. -60, even -70, ought to have enough throughput to keep a vacuum cleaner happy.

    AiMesh and Roomba

On 2.4GHz signals much weaker than -40dB are quite usable. Have you tried dropping the roaming threshold to -60dB?

    2021 State of the router

Eric, I am so glad to hear that cooperation with ASUS continues -- and is even a two-way street. They have the engineering power and you have the innovations that, combined, have resulted in great products.

    Router temperatures

Carrying that to its logical conclusion would say that removing the heat sinks would improve cooling. No thanks!

    Router temperatures

Remember, a 1 C drop in room temperature would have the same effect. What heat sinks and other cooling systems do is reduce the temperature rise above ambient.

Your ISP's DHCP does not function correctly

There must be other reasons. My ASUS RT-AC68 used to chug along happily for weeks with no notifications, and then suddenly flash that error message with no action that would change its address.

Can the AC86U handle 1000 Mbps up/down fiber?

Tim's charts (elsewhere in Small Net Builder) suggest that even the newest models from every manufacturer are topping out just above 920Mbps.

    RT-AC86U & iPad - frequent wifi disconnections

I have also seen a recommendation that iStuff may play better with IGMP Snooping and WMM Support are both on. I think WMM is already locked on in ASUS routers.

do the nodes in an Asus mesh communicate directly with each other( like they do in Zigbee )

So they cannot be daisy-chained wirelessly?

    UNITs Confusion (KB/s , KBps , MB/s , MBps) in ASUS Routers ?

Meaning "1gbps" stands for "1 gravity bit per second" and "100mbps" stands for "0.1 bit per second" (ie, 100 millibits).

    UNITs Confusion (KB/s , KBps , MB/s , MBps) in ASUS Routers ?

As could the majority of people posting to this forum.

    Max wireless throughput on RT-AC1900P

My downstairs access point is an RT-AC68U. Connected to it on 2.4GHz Ch11 my mobile phone shows 80Mbps download.

Any Asus router for gigabit wifi

The inside of an ASUS external antenna looks a lot like a J-pole. The two elements are not the same length.
