Is there a way disable diversion for a specific computer on the network? (aka one computer where traffic to/from would by-pass diversion)

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

I was hoping that since diversion is a server and operating on it's own IP, I could forward external port to it...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Wouldn't this method also use router's internet, aka the download speed for outside client will be limited to upload speed of the ISP the router is connected to? Android phones have "Private DNS" setting, where DNS server's hostname can be specified.

amtm amtm - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Yes, this method works, but as I mentioned above, if you don't have authorization edit the list, you cannot add more domains locally. Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Sorry, it's not what I asked...currently if you add a remote whitelist, unless you have authorization to edit it, there is no way whitelist additional domains because there is no more "local" whitelist available. In fact, when adding a remote whitelist it warns you that local whitelist will be...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Hello. I don't have much experience with *nix so have a few questions: 1) I'm using putty on windows and would like create a shortcut of some sort that would launch putty and automatically show F -> 3 logs, is it possible? (suggestions for any other clients are welcome too) 2) Is it some kind...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Um...ok...weird, but ok... So if anyone needed, here is a PHP script that can be used to automatically convert lists into Diversion format. Simply point your list to it in Diversion, appending actual list as url query...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Thank you, the menu is confusing, when disabled it just showed "6. log-queries=extra" which I assumed was already logging "extra" Unfortunately it still doesn't show IP when filtered by blocked domains.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Is there a way follow Dnsmasq log file but filter by IP it requested from or at least show the IP at the end of each line? Having 15 devices on the network makes it impossible troubleshoot... Thank you. P.S. I'm using the same lists that I use in Pi-Hole which have 1,537,825 unique domains...
