AX92U - slow internet speedtest after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a firmware

Agreed, but doing the same thing but expecting different results is also failure...in fact it's insanity according to Einstein. ;)

AX92U - slow internet speedtest after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a firmware

Those of us who upgraded our main router to the 41535 broken firmware couldn't live with the broken firmware...so we downgraded. I downgraded mine to 40451. It's been stable for me. Some have downgraded to 9177. For those who've downgraded, we've had to completely do a factory reset and...

AX92U - slow internet speedtest after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a firmware

I'll try it out later today on my AP node...not brave enough to try on my main router ;) My AP node is on the broken 3.0.0.4.386_41535 firmware version, but it's stable...I'm guessing because it's just on AP mode. That 41535 firmware causes havoc if used in my main router as explained in OP.

AX92U - slow internet speedtest after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a firmware

This version is not yet available from Asus web site. To get this firmware, you'd have to go to your AX92U's web UI, go to the firmware upgrade page and click on Check Update and do Firmware Upgrade from there. I'd like to get some feedback from those who've upgraded to this new firmware. Has...

AX92U - slow internet speedtest after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a firmware

Looks like if you have any of these turned on, your internet speeds will be affected severely using this firmware: QoS AI Protection Traffic Analyzer

AX92U - slow internet speedtest after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a firmware

Pretty damn good speeds! May I ask what your settings are to get these speeds? I've had my AX92U's for a couple of weeks or so and I'm still trying to figure out best settings for best wired and wireless speeds. Thanks!

RT-AX92u - Traffic analyzer issue - Slow throughput (Wifi + Ethernet)

Please see this thread...http://www.snbforums.com/threads/ax92u-slow-internet-speedtest-after-upgrade-to-3-0-0-4-386_41535-g1caa24a-firmware.68884/ I also have traffic analyzer enabled. When I upgraded to this firmware, my internet speeds went down. So I reverted back to my previous firmware...

What was Asus's response to your feedback? I haven't received a response yet.

AX92U - slow internet speedtest after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a firmware

For those that got affected by the latest firmware update, perhaps send your feedback to Asus as well via router's web UI feedback form. I think it's under the Administration section.

AX92U - slow internet speedtest after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a firmware

Do you have AI Protection or Traffic Analyzer enabled? Or perhaps, would you mind sharing your settings? Thanks.

AX88U main router with AX92U AiMesh nodes cannot use Wifi 6

Perhaps from the UI, it can't be configured that way if you have a non AX92U master node. I don't know if there's a CLI command on the AX92U to force it. Maybe that's a lead you can pursue.

AX92U - slow internet speedtest after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a firmware

Same here. Firmware downgrade failed initially. I had to factory reset first...then downgrade. Then factory reset again and reconfigure my settings manually.

AX92U - slow internet speedtest after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a firmware

I've just upgraded my AX92U from 3.0.0.4_386_40451-g30f1b6c to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a today. I do not have AiMesh setup. Instead, I have have other Asus nodes (3 AC68U's and 1 AX92U) all configured in AP mode connected to my main AX92U via CAT6 cable. Prior to the upgrade, I was getting a...

RT-AX92u manual settings for stable wireless connection

This is for both main router and node. Here's how to configure the AX92U to use wifi6 as AiMesh backhaul and make wifi6 available to clients: https://www.asus.com/US/support/FAQ/1043439#a2 Also, I still see the AX92U in Asus web site...

RT-AX92u manual settings for stable wireless connection

The latest firmware enables use of wifi6 for clients even if using wifi6 as backhaul for AiMesh. I think it was released sometime in October. Checkout the firmware's release notes. Where did you see that the AX92 has been EOL'd?

AiMesh shows offline in GUI, but it's actually connected

Hmmm...just checked this morning...2 offline nodes (all of which I can ping and SSH into) and 1 online node (I can't ping or SSH into, but I can ping the clients attached to this node)

AiMesh shows offline in GUI, but it's actually connected

Will do. 1) One other thing I discovered tonight from an offline AC68U AiMesh node (uptime = 4 days)... I was able to SSH into it via WiFi and found a bunch of cfg_client processes: admin@RT-AC68U:/tmp/home/root# ps | grep -c cfg_client 990 I went ahead and rebooted this node, after coming...
