    AC3100 Repeater mode issue

    I'm having the same issue with my AC3100. I have an AC88U as main router, AC3100 and AC68U as repeaters. WiFi clients connecting to AC68U acquire DHCP addresses just fine. Can't say the same for the AC3100. The AC3100 is closer to the AC88U than the AC68U. All routers are on the Merlin...

    Try doing a full factory reset of your router first. Plug in a CAT5 cable to one of the 4 LAN ports of the router to your PC. Then perform the firmware upgrade.

    Use MAC address filtering on 2.4Ghz. Click on Wireless -> Wireless MAC filter. Choose 2.4Ghz band, choose Accept as MAC filter mode...then enter all the MAC addresses that you want to allow on 2.4Ghz. Your users won't be able to connect to 2.4Ghz unless their MAC address is on this list.

    Has anyone found a solution for this? I've got an AC87U on 380.58 as my main router, while the AC68U on stock Asus firmware 3.0.0.4_380_3831 as my repeater. Wireless clients attempting to connect to the AC68U can't get an DHCP IP address. Thanks.
