[384.8_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

That’s great news, my friend. Let me how the android box goes. I settled back on .7 again. My WiFi has been stable as can be, but the testing junkie in me may try new merged GPL. Still debating. :D

    Uctalk

I’m unsure if this is your unknown data issue, but a quick google look up and I noticed this post on another forum: https://community.ubnt.com/t5/EdgeRouter/Traffic-Analysis-UCTalk/td-p/1384528

    Wireless not working after awhile

Just one more question. With what Asus told you about their recent firmware, will that impact the development of the current alpha with GPL’s 32738 and 32797 merged? Thanks!

Has always worked for me over Lan and WiFi.

    Wireless not working after awhile

Thank you for the update, Eric. Do you think Asus will give you the source for next update fairly quickly, if they release it soon?

2.4 ghz not working on my RT-AC86U

Hi Eric, That’s odd about the temperature spikes. Maybe the 2.4 radio is failing? Did you do a factory reset, after installing Merlin? If not, try that first and then check temp again.

You may want to factory reset, after the upgrade and to start clean on 32799.

Can get to Modem 192.168.100.1 anymore

I have the same router. When I was running an Arris SB6183, this happened to me once. I unplugged the modem to reboot it and was then able to access the modem again.

    Which firmware for RT-N66R?

I agree with @skeal. John’s fork is a good choice and there will be future updates.

Nice! Almost a day now here, since initialize and speeds have been consistent.

GUI seems fast enough here. No real difference in speed in IE and Safari. WiFi has been solid so far, after reset. The WiFi icon has been lit, since that initial odd behavior.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.7 is now available

Hi Anton, It all depends on Asus and whether they update the firmware of the AC-3200. Without new source code, there is nothing Merlin can merge into a future release.

[384.8_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

I factory reset 384.8 and all is well so far. I did notice one bit of odd behavior. Upon initially finishing setup and landing on GUI, I noticed the WiFi icon in the top right corner was not lit up? Devices were connected fine. As I moved around the GUI or made some initial changes (not to...

GPL 32799 has a WiFi stability fix listed in notes, but who knows when Asus gets around to releasing the source. If I decide to reset and test out your theory, I’ll update. Worst case— I roll back to 384.7 like you did. :)

Glad you’re stable again, @D_Day. Everything still fine here on alpha1. I haven’t reset yet, but thinking about it to start off this testing sequence clean.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.7 is now available

If everything is running fine, you’re good. If you detect any weirdness later on, then factory reset.
