    RT-BE96U Tri-Band

Exactly! We're getting updated at a snail's pace.

    RT-BE96U Tri-Band

Yeah I just went back and saw it won't let me unclick any of the other bands. Also MLO doesn't work on any of my aimesh satellites either. Guess we have to wait until we get another firmware update. Sounds like the BQ16 has it working on the satellites too.

    RT-BE96U Tri-Band

When you set it up, doesn't it give you the option to pick which bands you want to use?

Absolutely nothing you can do on your own.

    GT-BE98 WIFI 7

I definitely got the warning message. I connected anyway and it worked fine. Warning was about homekit and airplay possibly not working correctly.

    BE Wi-Fi 7 - Replacement for AX68/AX86 Series?

Good deal. My family loves that I'm an enthusiast. I just give them my old stuff for free. My parents got my wifi 6 orbi system and my brother got my ax11000s. I like being on the bleeding edge when I can justify it, which is almost always haha.

GT-BE98 AiMesh and other extender Issue

I agree with @L&LD. It sounds like you have too much going on. Also, with new routers, there's a lot of issues. It's probably a bug with the firmware. You can submit feedback to Asus and hope they fix it, but it may be some time before they get to it. I submitted a bug report end of December and...

    Warzone 2.0 Unstable latency HELP

All these are good troubleshooting techniques and hopefully something fixes it for you. I do have a question for you though. Did your issue just start recently? I'm a fellow Warzone player. I typically have 20-30ms ping during games. Occasionally it'll be in the 40s. All this week my ping has...

    WiFi 7 has been certified.

Yep, I believe it. It's all about money. I just buy what works for me. I don't particularly care what they call it. Only way to get faster speeds for my situation was to buy the newer units. Maybe it's all due to more processing power and nothing to do with the the newer standard. Unfortunately...

    WiFi 7 has been certified.

Well those gaming motherboards that were coming out with only a BE202 support what you're saying. I personally think the biggest benefit of 320mhz is for a wireless backhaul in mesh systems. Average consumer may get something like an Eero Max 7 that you just plug up and forget it and be able...

    WiFi 7 has been certified.

My iPhone, Fold, and Pixel 6 Pro I mentioned don't count? Is that because they're not connected at 320mhz? Basically you just want to see a client that supports connecting at the full 320mhz to see if the range drops off even more than a device connected at less than that. You're not concerned...

iPhone 15 pro max WiFi 6E

Yeah when I connect it says there could be compatibility issues, but everything works fine. It says I could have issues with airplay or homekit devices. I had no such problems though. I was connected out of necessity.

You said you were interested about 320mhz so I just answered. Did you not want anyone else to comment or something? I didn't say it was unexpected. Just giving my experience. I would think it's obvious to anyone on this forum that a router would do better than a phone lol. In my opinion, what...

    GT-BE98 WIFI 7

Merlin. Several things have to line up though, and he only does it for routers he owns, I believe. He also doesn't like to be asked if it's coming for a specific model or not if I remember correctly. So we'll just have to wait and see.

    GT-BE98 WIFI 7

Most people on here swear by it, and I myself have had a good experience with it. It's not known whether it will be coming or not. We'll have to wait and see.

BE98 Pro vs ASUS WiFi Gaming Router (RT-AC5300) - Tri-Band Gigabit Wireless Internet Router

This makes sense. Well, I think I've finally reached the performance level I need so hopefully no more upgrades for me any time soon.

I've got my BE96Us set on 320mhz 6ghz. My house is approximately 4500sq ft and has 2 separate upstairs areas as one is a man cave above the garage. They are spread fairly evenly and a decent distance apart through several walls and have flooring and/or roofing between them. There's also...

iPhone 15 pro max WiFi 6E

So I have a 15 Pro Max on 17.2.1, and it connects to 6E just fine for me. All 3 bands have different SSIDs. I can just pick which one I want to connect to, and it gives me no issue.

BE98 Pro vs ASUS WiFi Gaming Router (RT-AC5300) - Tri-Band Gigabit Wireless Internet Router

That's what I would think. I know every time I've upgraded, I've gotten better performance. The first time that I don't, I'll just return the equipment.

BE98 Pro vs ASUS WiFi Gaming Router (RT-AC5300) - Tri-Band Gigabit Wireless Internet Router

The range I get for my backhaul is about the same as the 5ghz. It's actually better performance for me on the 6 vs 5. I've tried both. I just can't do 5ghz backhaul because I live like 5 min from an airport and it was intermittently wreaking havoc for me. I would prefer to have ethernet, and I...
