    I think those are either legacy (B) or G devices . Setting Wireless Mode to Auto should fix that. They and other Sony/Mac/I-Phone devices have trouble connecting to my RT-AC68U and the RT-AC88U with this set to anything else as well as when I have universal beam forming turned on.

The gain in line of site distance also means lower radiated signal and receive strengths from stations at a higher elevation...

    You are welcome. I am not aware of any specific documentation and can provide no links. What I know, was not found in my users manual. I have provided enough information for you to be a danger to your system. What was given should be plenty to get you started down that path.
