Sustained packet loss, intermittent. Ready to pull hair out.

Hi Mike, I had tried the Asus stock firmware (260, 270, 272, 354, 370) and all of Merlin's variations of the same. This morning, at your advice, I installed Tomato USB Shibby K26-RT AIO (all-in-one) Build 5X-109. The wireless networks are much more stable than they have been in a long while...

Hello RMerlin, Thank you for your hard work. I will definitely be sending $$$ your way. I reset my router back to factory defaults after upgrading to .372.30, and the wireless settings now work correctly on both bands. I will be updating to .30_2 shortly.

I have an RT-N66U. I upgraded to this firmware from .270.26. I keep setting the Wireless Mode to "Auto" for either 2.4GHz or 5GHz band, but it keeps dropping back to "Legacy." This did not happen in the .2xx branch. This was happening in all the .3xx branch firmwares that I tried prior...

iPhone & other devices frequently losing Wi-Fi, lots of DHCP activity in system log

I'm running Merlin's firmware 3.0.0.4.270.26 A great number of my wireless devices are constantly asking DHCP for an address. I read a while back that iPhones doing this too frequently were causing problems at Duke University. My Mac Pro with an Airport wireless card is not behaving this way...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.270.25 is out

I have an RT-N66U with a new wireless problem that I noticed since the upgrade from 266.23 to 270.25b. My iPhone 4 and iPad 1 receive an excellent signal from the router (-45dBi through two walls), but they also experience a periodic loss of WiFi, about once a minute, for less than two seconds...
