Recommended Method of Debugging Connectivity Issues

No scripts, except FlexQoS. I have never had issues with Netflix stalling. The FIOS connection has been working very well. This has started just lately. It might be ISP-related.

    I'll try this. Thanks.

Recommended Method of Debugging Connectivity Issues

For the last week or so, I have been experiencing sporadic ISP connectivity problems. Netflix streams stall, audio streams get interrupted. This happens maybe 4 to 5 times a day. This is not WiFi-related and I have not seen these issues before. I already started pinging DNS servers every 30...

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

If you don't saturate your bandwidth, you should be fine without QoS. I would disable it and watch the traffic and see if there is any noticeable impact on gaming. If this does not work, enable QoS and see if it helps.

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

No, disable QoS to get the full bandwidth. You also don't need QoS with such a high bandwidth.

The classifications such as Untracked don't change, they come from Trend Micro, however the colors do according to the rules.

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

I am sorry you are correct. The last rule should have a Local IP such as your PS4 or gaming PC. The important thing is making sure your game downloads are not classified as Gaming since game loads are usually massive which is achieved by the first rule.

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

I would remove the Mark entry (last line) completely otherwise you restrict the rule to this specific type of traffic and for example untracked traffic (mark 000000) is not moved to Gaming.

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

You could combine it into one rule if you remove the local IP address. Then it would apply to every device.

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

I would recommend to put !80,443 as Remote Port into your Gaming rule to make sure that game downloads do not show up there.

    Buying a new router

I second the AX88U. I upgraded from an RT-AC68U and both have performed flawlessly.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 is now available

I assume you mean WiFi Calling on your cellphone provided by the carrier when you say VoWiFi. It uses port 4500 and should automatically work. I am also using the AX88U with WiFi Calling. Depending on your carrier, it might only work if your signal strength is low. So if you have a strong cell...

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

Looks pretty good :) This is mine on a 100/100 Mb/s Fiber:

The ISP might make the difference for latency. Once you configured Adaptive QoS with FlexQoS, you should try this http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest and look at buffer bloat. Have your neighbors test this as well and compare.

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

I wonder if UPnP is basically equivalent with full cone except that UPnP is dynamic and full cone applies to all clients and connections? Are the results the same from a gaming perspective?

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

I also remember this used to be correctly identified as Wi-Fi Calling. However this doesn't matter much since this default rule moves it into the Work-From-Home category:

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

Classification of traffic is difficult if it hides behind encryption (port 443). Then TrendMicro relies on the identification of the server IP address. Same applies to VPN traffic.

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

There is no drag and drop. You need to delete the rules and re-enter them in the correct order.

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

This is very interesting since I see this with my AX88 (384.19_beta1) and FlexQoS v1.0.0 installed (and rules configured): after reboot the filter count is 49 after service "restart_tcd;restart_qos" the filter count is 41 after second service "restart_tcd;restart_qos" the filter count is 82...
