    Also seeing 5GHz not coming online after reboot on my A86U - problem seems to be intermittent. If I reboot via GUI 5GhZ does not come back on a regular basis. Can bring 5G band only back by switching off and pulling power for 30 secs ... will monitor

    That's not bad news at all but a helpful explanation for the less Linux-savvy folks like me :-) So thank you for that. Nevertheless I assume the OS behind 384.10 and earlier was Linux too - and as I did not experience this behaviour earlier there is still the question as to why it is happening...

    OK - I know it might be minor but what I am seeing on my 86U is an creeping, increasing memory consumption - after reboot mem utilization is at 52% - after an uptime of 3 days and 18 hours I am at 60% mem utilization. Nothing in the logs, no config changes etc. - no Qos AIProtect or whatever...

    Just did a dirty and a clean update to beta-1 on an RT-AC86U - since then my Android phone shows up as 2 devices connecting under the same name - sometimes on 2.4, sometimes 5 Ghz - never happened or saw that before. Router has been rebooted, phone has been rebooted, problem does not show under...

    @ L&LD - thanks for your response. I am running an RT-AC86U too, shelf-config, no changes to swap etc. I am not truly concerned but knew that memory utilisation has been standle with previous Merlin FW's, actually never ran stock FW on the device up until recently. Now with the recent FW release...

    After raching 65% Memory utilisation with no additional traffic or clients connecting I decided to go back to latest Merlin for now - will check and compare to see if I can isolate reasons for this odd behaviour ...
