    Alright, thank you. That helps clear it up a lot more. Will keep watch for any good specials on all of those routers. I will try and do some reading and find with ones have those specs (ARMv8 + AES). Is there actually any websites that list specs, or am I just going to have to read reviews...

    I just had a look at VPN fusion. Looks like a nice feature. How come they don't allow the RT-AC86U to use it if the hardware is the same as the GT-AC2900? It something similar supported in the Merlin releases of the firmware, I've never used Merlin on my AC86U (when it was working).
