AC68U Router with Huawei HG612 Modem on Infinity

Is this gpon fiber service? If so you would connect the asus directly to the ont. No modem needed. Sorry im not familiar with your service name If its vdsl then you should be able to put the modem into transparent bridging. And let the asus do all the routing. Look like you have the modem...

AC68u, version 380.65_4, Adaptive QOS works great

it does make a difference what modem you have but if you turned on qos and get worse bufferbloat then a setting is messed up somewhere. ive never had goodluck with automatic speed control i set manual and lower by about 5 to 10 percent. if you dont need qos though thats a good thing. you...

    IPTV and QoS

Well in my findings before alpha. Adaptive gave me A's across the board on the dslreports speed test. After going to alpha using adaptive it no longer limits my upload or download properly. When using traditional at least it limits my connection and my bufferbloat is fixed again. So not entirely...

    IPTV and QoS

Adaptive qos is not working for me on the alpha. I had to use traditional qos. Waiting on a fix. Hopefully alpha 4 :) 68u here.

Advice please: RT-AC5300 improvements over RT-AC3200

My honest opinion. You won't see better coverage. You would see better speeds is actual coverage areas if your devices supported all the new features of the 5300. 2.4ghz will always cover better than 5ghz but has more interference. I would look to running cat5e and placing another access...

[alpha] Early preview builds for Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66

wanted to share what i have seen so far with 66 alpha 3. adaptive qos at least on the upstream is not working. i have qos upstream set for 5.5 on speedtests it goes up to 7 to 8 meg spikes. on 65 it definitely limited the upload. my bufferbloat is off the charts because of it. traditional...
