    bonjour/mdns not working between wired and wireless clients

    So if you want to have AirPlay in the house you need to have Bonjour/MDNS working (its a multicast protocol that clients basically announce themselves to everyone). If i have a device connected through the wire I am able to see it as a target from any other devices connected trough wire as well...

    What is the MTU size that is being set when jumbo frames are enabled? An older post mentioned 4000 but I am not sure if that is still the case.

    The switch supports 803.2ad dynamic linking ( page 2 under standard compliance http://www.netgear.com/images/GS105v3_GS108v3_DS_27Apr1118-4903.pdf ). So that is not the problem something else is going on.

    It doesnt return. When it runs it runs for a sec and then drops two messages that it deleted dead vlans and thats it. I checked and the bonding driver is there and loading.

    right. I am running latest as well and it seems no matter what I do when i run the bonding script all I get is that anything that is hooked up to the wired ports dies until i reboot the router and still no bonding happens :/

    what did you do to get the link aggregation working? I cannot get it to happen and not kill all my wired connections on my 68U no matter what I do :( On Your Synology that is.

    -3810 just came out a couple of days ago. My synology is set to "static dhcp" on the router, but I can switch it to straight up static assignment. I am upgrading to -3810 as we speak and can try it out again tonight.

    hmmmm... both clients 192.168.1.4 and 1.6 are running and are on two different platforms (one is a mac the other is a win box). I guess it is something with my servers.
