    Well I must put my hand up here, it seems someone (and they know who they are …) switched it off at the wall. When someone else (who didn’t have to crawl under the bed) turned it back on again, it came back immediately. So it seems mine do actually work, fingers crossed…

    Okey dokey, might I be so bold as to suggest that there is an option added (for folks like me) for no USB (after someone originally had a path for such an animal) or that the user is prompted to type /home/root/ for no USB. 🙏

    Thank you for that. I’m no expert on this, far from it, but the site pic attached suggests your (libnss) mDNS modification would seem to benefit Shelly devices (Gen 2 up) so if thats correct, that’s eventually good news for owners of these devices. Unfortunately mine are mostly Gen 1.

    I have to credit dongknows for this table (no affiliation) which gives a simple set of differences. Apart from the CPU and VLANs via 3.0.0.6.102 FW, not a lot of difference. Lots of previous discussions on these models though.

    When you say devices, can you please clarify what kind of devices (e.g. types, model) and in what configuration (mesh nodes, AP’s, clients?) Is libnss-mdns solely for the issue with the Apple devices?

    My XD6 (same one) just dropped off the mesh again. Wired backhaul 1G wired preferred set for each node individually. My other XD6 is fine. So frustrating as I’m thousands of km away and need someone to reset it. It didn’t even try to connect via WiFi it seems. I have a log but won’t post here...
