    when you refer to the previous stable release, do you mean the one based on 386? If so, I'm also seeing this behaviour on my tuf-ax5400 (not supported by @RMerlin ) on 388 stock. I used to have about 110/120mb of free RAM and now it hovers around 56/62MB, with no instability being detected...

    Yes, a firmware update is overdue, but you can try the beta in this thread as I believe it's an update relative to the current official version. I haven't tried as mine is working as a node with a TUF-AX5400 as main, but the comments are fairly positive regarding the beta version.

    For what it’s worth, beware of tp-link firmware policy. I have a1043nd v3 that was updated about once or twice in its life. Thankfully it has ddwrt support and is still going strong. My asus routers have had more updates in one year than the updates the 1043nd had in six… not sure if it changed...
