    Before I use AX86U as main, I also resetup both XT8 multiple times because of beta update release but don't have any issues like node not found. If have any issue hard to add Aimesh node, need to check WPS too. Reset WPS can make the adding ability come back but need to setup Wifi and password...

    I want you to try different way of factory reset by using needle for small hole underneath the unit. You press it for 20 seconds and try resetup. Do it for both unit.

    Please factory reset too at Aimesh -> System Settings -> System Reset to Factory Default. After reset, let the default setting through quick internet setup and just configure your wifi name and pass only. If after doing those steps still get only 2.4GHz, you can send it for warranty.

    Maybe your unit has problem. Supposedly, after using Quick Internet Setup, both will be connected each other. If cannot, something wrong happen to your unit.

    I think it is better to setup using Web browser. You can reset both router at Aimesh section -> System reset to factory default Update : XT8 if setup from scratch, it will automatically detect both in Aimesh. No need to manual add.

    Have you factory reset and resetup all from scratch? That view is from Asus Merlin firmware. I'm using AX86U as main.

    Ok. I suggest you @morkjt upgrade to latest beta 41994 and perform factory reset if possible. When I'm using that official non beta firmware with AX86U as main, one of XT8 keep reconnecting after 2 days connected to main AX86U. After I update both of them to 41994, that issue doesn't occur...

    How can you access the node? I think you need to resetup. Supposedly, you cannot access the node's Web UI.

    You don't need to worry about OFDMA. It will be definitely available for Wifi 6 router. But that function would working if you use many Wifi 6 devices.

    Mine solved by not using Let's Encrypt for DDNS. I just choose 'None' for SSL certificate.

    They can't easily hack WPA2 if disable WPS. It will take years to encrypt unless they have supercomputer.

    I'm using AX86U with two XT8 nodes and so far not having any interruption for Microsoft Teams or Zoom and even Google Meet. Maybe your isp that create the problem. OR Your wifi or internet setting cause that problem. OR Might be certain region issue caused by server or routing problem
