    Just flash the stock firmware. Then factory reset and tick initialize all settings. If after you back to stock but still face those problem, it maybe caused by your device itself. Why don't you use Merlin firmware but without those addons? Hope you may rest after settling the downgrade.

    After I read it back, you xt8 node just connect only on 2.4GHz because 5GHz-2 or backhaul will not connect to 5GHz AX88U that use the lower channel (36-64) because XT8's fronthaul already in lower channel.     Asus RT-AX86U 160 Mhz channel falls back on 80 Mhz

    This is not a bug. This is because your place is near the weather radar. 160MHz in USA only available at channel 100-128. The weather radar also use that channel. So, if router detect usage of weather radar, it will change to non dfs channel (149-161) and that channel cant use 160MHz.

    Just grab beta for fix DNSmasq vulnerabilities or Merlin Firmware 386.1_0 Factory reset after load new firmware is better too

    Might be you enable something in MSI Dragon Centre that QOS the connection speed to keep ping low
