    I have the ac56r and the upgrade went good. did a reset and then went back and put ip monitoring to a flashdrive. hit apply and locked. had to do a nvram reset to get back into it. so if you have the ac56 do not do ip monitoring. thanks for the upgrade tho as it really flies.

    Asus ac66u lan only 100mbps

    maybe the item you are connecting to.my ethernet mother board ether port was set at 1.0gbs but it was slow as molasses .changed the port to 100 mb full duplex and it was faster than 1.gbs. bought new computer. all fine

    do not know if it got lost in the board issues as did not see it.the clients list dhcp and static are reversed.dhcp shows as static and static as dhcp.no biggie but cosmetics right? thanks for your great work rtn-16

    rt-n16 and asus latest beta

    seen asus reased a beta for the n16 and tried it and seems to be really fast with thruput.also does not seem to drop connections.as I stream internet radio all day and since I flashed this release it has not dropped.I am just using it as a router/wan so have not tried other things. can't wait...

    Strange IP address

    its the goofy windows default ip address. not a router problem.on the computer go in to network settings and change adapter tcp protocol and set a static ip. again a windows problem not router.

    great rom and been using for a while now.came from ddwrt and used the service samba stop or similar to stop the samba srvice as do not use it for any media.is there a way in this to stop samba tho with still keeping logs and dlna and any other services I do not need? thanks
